LETTERS... WORDS...Sounding Sculptures of Our BEING
Our Alphabet of 26 letters in Numerology bear the number values of 1 to 26, A to Z. . The letter X bears the number value of 24. 2, denoting connections, communes, 4, denoting structure, foundation, 2+4 = 6 denoting 'voice to be heard.'
With the exception of X, there are many words in our every day use, that begin with each letter of the alphabet. When matching each letter with a word in PRAISE, and bringing forth . "The Alphabet of PRAISE," X was a letter that did not readily offer a corresponding word. I looked at X and felt it conveyed the messaging of 'crossroad.' A 'crossroad' implying too, an interchange, a transformation, a redirection, a meeting ground, an exit that may well be a new opening.
As I considered the meanings of words that began with, "ex..." I found that the word in some way did include the concept of, "crossroad." Then such use of 'X". as in the "X FACTOR," the word, "EXTRAORDINARY," implying 'beyond', I found an acceptance of my observations. Then too, I remember the use of a red pencil making 'X' on test papers indicating 'error' ... a need to correct, to change what we put forth.
