As I make the Sign of the Cross... in the name of the FATHER, my fingers placed at the mid point of my forehead, be this the Mind's Eye, then to the SON, at the chest, this the Heart Center, then to the HOLY GHOST, from left shoulder to right shoulder, be this the lifting of all that I perceive 'weighing ' upon me, released... and so acknowledged be the HOLY GHOST, as the COMFORTER. With such supernal blessings, my hands in prayer hold to PRAISE and GRATITUDE.

Yes, I became well, I was freed of the ravages of cancer, I became the artist that had not revealed herself, I became the honored educator who left the system that did not allow a full embrace of documented need, I became the first Poet Laureate to be so designated by the Town of Orangetown, New York. I became the poet whose heartfelt words are a standing monument at the Piermont Pier, Piermont, New York in honor of our veterans. I became the recipient of national, state, local, organizational and community awards and honors for my actions as an educator, advocate, activist. In 2021, I was named a Women of Distinction by the New York State Assembly. I became one to live and honor her birth right.

This statement is not my exclusive domain. It is shared in the spirit of celebrating Your Birth, Your Rght to create and live a destiny in accord with your BEING, Your Right to be your fully energized realized SELF.
