Health, Impressions and Conscious Experience:
What immediately comes to mind when we hear the word impressions? It is likely to be thought of as a more archaic way of expressing perception. Though today this use of the word appears to have fallen out in favor. When describing one’s role in an active sense we employ it more often in this way, “the speaker’s presentation made a big impression upon me."
