TWO Ears ONE Heart

Two ears with chambers that receive, and signal. One heart that receives and signals. Each responsive to vibration, movement, and our states of BEING. How we perceive sound, how words speak to our experiences, our needs, our projections, our fears, our doubts, our apprehension, our confidence, our knowing, our faith, so be the pulsing, the sounding orchestration of our hearts.

I have been a student of Hatha Yoga and Yoga Science, as presented by the sages of the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science. Such were my travels and explorations of the 80’s and 90’s. Privileged to be a part of a Holistic Paradigm of study, then directed by Rudolph Ballentine, MD . I emerged fascinated by the form, structure, of each of our organ systems, of the interplay of our skeleton and cranium,  as conductors as well as protectors. The publication,  "Radical Healing," 1999, by Rudolph Ballentine, MD, brings forward, what was taught in the many presentations, seminars and lectures of the Holistic Training Program for physicians and selected health care practitioners. I was fortunate to be among those selected for training.

Indeed significant. The Vagus Nerve is significantly related to how our heart interprets experience. When a perceived resonance, harmony, cadence, rhythm, bring forth a deep sense of comfort and wellbeing, it is the Vagus Nerve that activates the parasympathetic nervous system.

What does it take to raise your energetic frequency?

What does it take to raise your energetic frequency? FAITH and WILL are the messages that signal our consciousness, and every living cell within us. What allows FAITH to fill our very BEING? The History of Sound Healing

Sound has been used as a healing force for thousands of years. All ancient civilizations used sound for healing. Traditional cultures still surviving today understand the remarkable healing power that lies in sound.

In the Bible we are told that David played his harp to lift King Saul’s depression. Egyptian papyri over 2,600 years old refer to incantations as cures for infertility and rheumatic pain.

The ancient Greeks believed music had the power to heal body and soul. They used the flute and the lyre for treating illnesses such as gout and sciatica. It is reported that Alexander the Great’s sanity was restored by music played on the lyre. There is an ancient Greek saying, ‘Men have song as a physician for pain.’

Pythagoras used special songs and incantations with particular melodies and rhythms, to cure diseases of the body and mind.

A Present History – The founding of APOGEE Acu-Tone™

Sound as a 'resolution' was conceived in the innocent perceptions of a seven year old when listening and viewing, for the first time, a live orchestra 'tuning up' right before her eyes. The marvel of creating harmony, at that moment, defined her life's quest on how to 'tune up the world." Since the world is made up of people, she thought that if people were well tuned, then harmony would become real. "YES," she affirmed, that was a good place to start.

The year was 1945, she had lived through World War II, the air raid drills, the sound of aircraft overhead, the sirens and the black out drills. She remembered listening to her own heart beating when under the bed during a black out drill. Listening, feeling, observing, the tone of speech, the body tone, sounds and people, people and sounds guided her growing sensitivity and awareness. Research, research, practice, practice, development, integration, and so a truly holistic paradigm has been put forth.

Thirty eight years later the vision of this seven year old was realized as she introduced APOGEE Acu-Tone™ at the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science, followed by a tour in 1996, supported by Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment. The year 2013 marks a thirty year practice of APOGEE Acu-Tone™ bringing documented benefit to hundreds that have availed themselves of the APOGEE Acu-Tone™ experience. What is APOGEE Acu-Tone™ Sound Healing?

Sound healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body/mind of a person with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony and health. The dictionary defines ‘harmony’ as ‘congruity of parts to their whole or to one another’. ‘Health’ is defined as ‘the state of being bodily and mentally vigorous and free of disease’.

APOGEE Acu-Tone™ Resonance and Cell Communication

Every organ, bone, and cell in the body has its own resonant frequency. Each Chakra or nerve plexus has its associated tonal frequency. Together they make up a composite frequency like the instruments of an orchestra. When one Chakra or one organ in the body is out of tune it will affect the whole body. APOGEE Acu-Tone™ Entrainment Transformation Principle

The Entrainment Transformation Principle, a physics phenomenon of resonance, first observed in the 17th century, has an effect on all of us. Entrainment is defined as the tendency for two oscillating bodies to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony. It is also defined as a synchronization of two or more rhythmic cycles. The principle of entrainment is universal, appearing in chemistry, pharmacology, biology, medicine, psychology, sociology, astronomy, architecture and more. The classic example shows individual pulsing heart muscle cells. When they are brought close together, they begin pulsing in synchrony.

The principle of entrainment explains how sound healing works. A harmonious sound projected at a person who is in a state of disharmony will eventually bring them into resonance with the harmonious sound. Our atoms, molecules, cells, glands and organs all have a vibrational frequency. Sounds from outside our body will stimulate sympathetic vibration in the molecules and cells of our body.
