Spinal Resonance - Entrainment, the Harmonics of Balance and Wellbeing, the Responsive Nervous System

APOGEE Acu-Tone™ Spinal Resonance provides the called for Restorative Frequencies to reestablish the natural harmonics of the spine. 

Resonance is a natural phenomenon that occurs throughout all of nature.  All that vibrates has a resonant frequency that will spontaneously begin to vibrate in response to external vibrations that share the same or similar resonant frequency. Entrainment is the result of frequencies working in resonance.

When a middle C tuning fork is struck and begins to vibrate, a second middle C tuning fork nearby will also spontaneously begin to vibrate. Resonators, like tuning forks, have the ability to both transmit and respond to their resonant frequency vibrations. Nearby tuning forks that produce the other notes of the octave (D, E, F, G, A, B) will not vibrate because their resonant frequencies are different.

When the human body is viewed as a dynamic and unfolding resonant system of vibrations, one can compare it to an orchestrated symphony. Every cell, every molecule, every tissue, every bone harmonizes with a specific frequency and will produce a certain tone when stimulated. Just as the way a musical instrument is played, brings forth a specific sound or series of sounds, so too, with the way the body is “played’ will bring forth particular states of BEING. APOGEE Acu-Tone™ vibrational therapy works at a deep, cellular level where molecular properties are being balanced by vibrations. Body, mind, spirit, and a myriad of emotions, are responsive to vibration and vibrational changes.

Physicist, Dan Winter has shown that there is a standing wave resonance between the heart and brain, and that physiological measurements are possible showing harmonically ordered smooth sine waves. Our bodies are filled with oscillating fields: heartbeats, breath cycles, brainwaves, and vertebral acoustics. The beating of the heart, the ebb and flow of cerebrospinal fluid, and the expansion and contraction of the diaphragm all produce mechanical acoustic waves that flow throughout the body.

Molecules vibrate. These vibrations are passed on to other molecules.  Molecules act as both transmitter and receiver. Sound waves emitted by one molecule can be picked up by other molecules "tuned-in" to that frequency. Here again the principles of entrainment apply.

The Entrainment Transformation Principle, a physics phenomenon of resonance, first observed in the 17th century, has an effect on all of us. Entrainment is defined as the tendency for two oscillating bodies to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony. It is also defined as a synchronization of two or more rhythmic cycles. The principle of entrainment is universal, appearing in chemistry, pharmacology, biology, medicine, psychology, sociology, astronomy, architecture and more. The classic example shows individual pulsing heart muscle cells. When they are brought close together, they begin pulsing in synchrony. 

The history of entrainment is linked to Dutch scientist, Christian Huygens. In 1665. while working on the design of the pendulum clock, Huygens found that when he placed two of them on a wall near each other and swung the pendulums at different rates, they would eventually end up swinging in at the same rate. This is due to their mutual influence on one another. 

The entrainment process is quite evident in music. It is possible to have rhythmic entrainment, melodic entrainment and dynamic entrainment. Entrainment music has the potential to (1) resonate with the listener's feelings, (2) transform negativity into positivity, and (3) promote a state of liveliness or serenity. Certain sounds, in specific sequence can help bring the listener from one place to another. So too, with the pure acoustic sounds of stainless steel calibrated tuning forks when placed on spinal, cranium and acupuncture points and meridian pathways. One can be responsive to the vibrations inherent in crystals, minerals and gems. The form and structure of the Five Platonic Solids, and their relationship to each of the five elements, earth, water, fire, air and ether, have shown to have a profound vibrational influence on the body’s energetic responses. Through direct body biofeedback one comes to experience the myriad of changes that come about through the entrainment process.

As Experienced...

Upon entry it was observed that the eyes were not aligned, one appeared smaller than the other, one eyebrow higher than the other, a dull affect was evident and reported as feeling stressed, confused, not oneself. Through direct body biofeedback, it was determined which energy centers were functioning in a compromised state.

Discussion followed that identified the circumstances and the persons perceived as being problematic. Steps defining resolve were explored.

The called for restorative frequencies were determined, applied to cranium and spinal points, ear acupuncture points, and reflexology points on both hands and feet via calibrated tuning forks. This was followed by a 'sound shower' of 528 Hz and 999 Hz. Focused attention on specific joint areas of the body, followed by whole body breathing, brought the session to a close.

Post completion of the session, eyes were aligned, of equal size openings, posture was centered, comfortable and equally balanced on left and right sides. Voice was deeper and more resonant. A feeling of ease with self, renewed energy, a spontaneous smile and an expressed feeling of 'feeling good' was reported. At this much improved and much desired state of being, there was a verbalized sense that all would be able to be worked out to his advantage after all.
