Currently I am guided to the periodic table of elements...each element representing particular vibrational tones and qualities. Present research is focused on ascertaining the 'sound' of each of the elements. All motion, all movement, all change, is of vibration. "The vagus nerve (VN), the longest nerve of the human body (from the brainstem to the abdomen), innervates most organs especially in the gastro‐intestinal tract. The VN is a key component of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). It is a mixed nerve (i.e. essentially sensitive) containing 80% afferent fibres that convey visceral, somatic and taste sensations and 20% efferent fibres representing the parasympathetic branch of the ANS that leads to the release of acetylcholine (ACh) at the synaptic junction with smooth muscles, intrinsic nervous fibres or secreting cells. The VN modulates gastro‐intestinal motility and secretion at the digestive tract level. The VN is considered as the sixth sense of the body by some authors (Zagon, 2001)."

Vagus nerve, also called X cranial nerve or 10th cranial nerve, longest and most complex of the cranial nerves. The vagus nerve runs from the brain through the face and thorax to the abdomen. It is a mixed nerve that contains parasympathetic fibres. The vagus nerve has two sensory ganglia (masses of nerve tissue that transmit sensory impulses): the superior and the inferior ganglia. The branches of the superior ganglion innervate the skin in the concha of the ear. The inferior ganglion gives off two branches: the pharyngeal nerve and the superior laryngeal nerve. The recurrent laryngeal nerve branches from the vagus in the lower neck and upper thorax to innervate the muscles of the larynx (voice box). The vagus also gives off cardiac, esophageal, and pulmonary branches. In the abdomen the vagus innervates the greater part of the digestive tract and other abdominal viscera.

The vagus nerve has the most extensive distribution of the cranial nerves. Its pharyngeal and laryngeal branches transmit motor impulses to the pharynx and larynx; its cardiac branches act to slow the rate of heartbeat; its bronchial branch acts to constrict the bronchi; and its esophageal branches control involuntary muscles in the esophagus, stomach, gallbladder, pancreas, and small intestine, stimulating peristalsis and gastrointestinal secretions.

There it is, "Tuning Lady" doing her thing :-)

Post a surgical procedure, that was performed this Monday, my young student, who came today for a session with his, "Tuning Lady," reported his eyes looked funny, his neck hurt and was not straight, his walk was funny, and he still felt worried. 

Appreciating the effects of the surgical procedure, the reported 'scared feeling' when the mask was placed over his face and the 'not good feeling' when he smelled what was to put him to sleep... a full Acu-Tone™ session was known to be in order.

Since he had experienced 'tune up' benefits in the past, he was more than receptive. Post the full 'tune up' as he would call an Acu-Tone™ session, he was delighted to observe and feel his eyes aligned, no longer 'feeling funny,' his neck straight and at ease, and his both shoulders able to make circles without a problem, along with a 'springy' step.

When his Dad greeted him at the close of the session, he stated, "...look my eyes are lined up, my neck is straight, I feel great, and look, I walk just fine." Yes, Dad did smile and gave a welcomed cheer!! Stating, "When Mom sees you she will sure be happy."
