A PROMOTION of YOU for YOU ... be this in service to SELF...

March 28, 2022, marked by my 84th Year... today, three days following, I am blessed to continue to walk the walk, talk the talk, of what has served the wellbeing of hundreds and hundreds I have served as an Educator, Educational Consultant/Therapist, Advocate, Pioneering Sound/Vibrational Therapist, Poet Laureate, Orangetown, New York, and designated as a 'Women of Distinction, 2021, by the New York State Assembly of New York. Yes, the counsel of the years, brought to you with gratitude, love, and blessings.
YES, we are to know, to respect, the intelligence of creation, to appreciate every cell, every bone, every organ, every structure within our body signals and becomes part of our consciousness, part of our experience, that calls for acknowledgement, understanding, confront and resolve. TRUTH ever calling onto itself for the ultimate GOOD of SELF.
Your perception of times past, bringing what 'was' to be interjected into what 'is' ~ and so claimed to be responsible for our own 'reality.' This the basis of understanding the haunts of PTS. This the explanation for night terrors, sleepless nights, heightened cortisol levels, anxiety, stress indicators, tensions, that come to dominate the way in which one responds to one's everyday challenges and demands during these troubled times.
Yes, we are indeed in need of knowing how to negotiate with SELF. To KNOW THYELF, is to be in command of a skill set that allows one to be the maker of a personal 'reality' that brings to us the balance, the discernment, the motivation, the power, to consider, to face, to reflect, to resolve, to release, to revive, to restore, our coping abilities.
We are lifelong learners, we are journey makers, we are natural explorers... be this in service to SELF.

The power that breaks the grip of oppression...the Alchemy of SELF...

Man in freedom so born is he
Yet shackled he sets himself to be
Oppression dark upon heart yet be lain
The echoes of emotion still held profane
The mind to silence daunting echoes of time past
And free the self from binding chains cast
Memory called to free mind, heart and soul
Alchemy to ring its welcomed toll.

Rose Marie Raccioppi

The truth, the innocence, and the all-knowing spirit of life fills our first breath. Who and what answers our first cry? What happens in the moments of life that fill the years to follow? Do we become the sum total of who touches, who answers, who denies, who ignores, who accepts, who rejects, who encourages? What moves us out of the shadow of our own experience? How do we hold on to the promise and joy of our own experience? How do we befriend that knowing within? What is the power that breaks the grip of oppression? What is this power that declares in silence, in words, in deed? What is this power that knows only itself as its teacher?

These are the questions that have lead to a thirty year journey and the founding of APOGEE Acu-Tone™.  What is called for is a willingness to understand and explore the trappings of consciousness, the perceptions held as truth, the illusions, compensations, and survival mechanisms, that may or may not serve well being over time. It is this willingness that allows for awareness, confrontation and ultimate resolve. It is this willingness that re-opens the door to SELF.

Across the age span there are experiences that leave in its wake a trauma. The implant and the aftermath of that trauma must be transformed, released, and ultimately healed.  Every experience brings with it a host of cell signaling to each organ system of the body. Understanding each system as a language of vibration is key. Providing harmonic cell signaling, relaxing the tensions within the body, allowing the body to move to a balanced state, have been shown to be significantly effective in addressing the anxiety associated with PTS - Post Traumatic Stress. By bringing response mechanisms to full awareness the path to recovery is defined. This the APOGEE Paradigm™ - this the service provision of APOGEE Acu-Tone™.

Everyone should consider his body as a priceless gift from one whom he loves above all,  a marvelous work of art, of indescribable beauty, and mystery beyond human conception, and so delicate that a word, a breath, a look, nay, a thought may injure it.  Nikola Tesla  (Source: “The Problem of Increasing Human Energy," The Century Magazine, June, 1900.)

There are aspects of the human condition that call for transcendence. This my life's work as an educational and sound therapist ... art and poetry, as expressions of the soaring spirit in pursuit of truth.  Ever the quest for deeper understanding.  Ever the need for liberation.   Rose Marie Raccioppi

PTS... Intrusive Thoughts

INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS
No one ever returns from war. We are all casualties, as are the victims of terrorism.
Not just those who are killed or maimed, but those who are there. They saw war in a very small place. Some say that with time they will get over it.
Not true.  It fades. Goes out of focus. Takes up less space in your consciousness, but spiritually you have been captured.
Your soul remains a prisoner.
Then days, years, even decades later, one of your senses will be a trigger.  A smell, a sound – and instantly you’ll be back there in full color.  But only you can see it and, as quickly as it came, it’s gone.
As fast as gunfire – and nothing’s faster than gunfire. It’s past you before you hear it. They’re not flashbacks. It’s not some Rambo-rampage.  It’s more subtle, more fleeting.  Often triggered by something mundane – harmless and innocent.
They’re just sights, sounds, and smells, that happen to be around you when your world went crazy.  They’re like daydreams.  The professionals call them “intrusive thoughts.”
I’m not a psychiatrist or a doctor. Hell, I’m not even a good patient. But I’ve been around this block a couple of times. We all have had these experiences.
For the normal people, whoever they are, usually intrusive thoughts are things that come back from childhood.
When you were a kid you had more time to dwell on things.  Also, you had less on your mind so things made more of an impression.  Colors were brighter. Smells were more pungent.  Sounds were sharper. Tastes were stronger. So today you may smell a turkey cooking and for a brief moment it will take you back to your grandmother’s house during the holidays.  The sound of wind chimes might bring you back to your uncle’s back porch.  Get the picture?  We all have had them.
However, for the combat veteran they’re far less pleasant and in a funny way, far more nuanced.  For me there were no more beautiful sunsets after Vietnam.  It took me years to figure this one out.
I could be sitting completely comfortable on a pleasant deck after a day’s work with a beer watching the sun go down. Tranquil, right?  I would become uneasy, uncomfortable, hyper-alert, hyper-vigilant, and there was nothing that I understood that should have caused that. There were no bad thoughts and I wasn’t concerned about anything in particular.  I thought I must have been going crazy.  But I wasn’t.  However, there are those that would argue that point.
I was having a perfectly normal reaction to an abnormal set of circumstances.  In Vietnam, the setting sun was a warning of night. Night belonged to Charlie and my platoon would soon be moving into an ambush position. That smoky, hazy, jungle twilight was soon followed by the inky Asian night, and you would lie silent praying for morning or a quick death.  It’d been decades since the dust-off helicopter lifted me out of my war.
I thought at least for me the war was over.  It was over for me like it was over for others.  For anyone who’s been to war, it was over and over and over.  Even today, if I hear the sound of a Huey helicopter, I have to stop and look up.  The difference is, at least today I know why I’m doing it.  Trauma is trauma – whether in Boston or Baghdad, and if you were there your mind becomes a dry sponge, which is thrown into a raging river of sound and fury absorbing all of it – even the seemingly peaceful things.
And they will come back and remind you when you least expect it.

PTSD ~ A spectrum of pain... A Responsive Paradigm

What is not in this moment, seen or heard, can yet be known and deeply felt. What is felt is the aftermath of an impression, a reference point, a memory. And so as we encounter each moment, we come to live the ongoing effect of our experiences, be they of joy or pain. We live within a spectrum of PTSD - Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Deep within the consciousness lies the sounding call, the vibration that draws to itself the original experience. This vibratory connection within the memory of each cell must be fully understood. This is the paradigm of APOGEE Acu-Tone™ fully applied. To restructure the associated consciousness, to reeducate/rehabilitate the cell signaling, to bring forward a commanding awareness, to reduce the associated stress, to align energies for responsive well-being, this the intent and documented benefits of the vibrational/sound therapy program, APOGEE Acu-Tone™.
